Record store.
The guy is an identical real life clone of Comic Book Guy in the simpsons - Vest, superman belt buckle, acne, ratty hair and all.
Great guy though and would always take care of me. I considered us friends! Would always stay and chat with him and his mom.
Election Day this year I posted a "funny" or "Adorable" little cartoon celebrating Trump losing. I got a message from him going off on me about how he hates facbeook and he tolerates 0 politics on facebook and if anyone does they get blocked and removed from his list.
He finished off with insinuating i was no longer welcome but if i still needed to come in i could call him instead.
It was super weird and a late night message. I asked if i offended him and he said yes and that was it.
We were friends on facebook for 8 years. I never post overtly political stuff but maybe crack a joke here or there. ITs been the same since we've been facebook friends so something clearly set him off that day.
Now its just fucking awkward.

Posting about politics on Facebook is super annoying, to be fair. And that's conceding that you should post on Facebook at all.

Why don't they just see how many orders they get then manufacture a run of said amount.
They are creating this supply and demand fever issue.
At this point not only are they placing an unnecessary limit on how many copies they could sell, they are pissing off more fans than they are pleasing.
And yes I'm saying this as someone who would have liked a copy. No Code is my favourite PJ album and although I own the original and repress, I am curious to see whether this 'mastered for vinyl' version spread over 2 LPs sounds any better...

No worries!
The facepalm had more to do with me than you, buddy. And the whole thing was actually pretty funny.

Re: No Code Vinyl
I have my first 10 albums in one of those boxed sets, which is a great way not to listen to them. When I saw the clear No Code, I thought ... "Hey, i've got a purple Ten. Maybe I can eventually amass all the albums on color vinyl and those can be on my shelf for listening since I'm too lazy to pull out the box and open it."
Now I realize, collecting these vinyls as they come out is going to be significantly harder than just opening the dumb box.

i emailed a bunch of local places and a few said they would have it. worst case scenario i have to break into one of these places at night and steal it. no big deal.

The big box sets are such an annoying thing for me too. I know I'd have a fun night opening up the Super Deluxe boxed set of Ten and listening to Drop in the Park on wax. I sit at work and daydream about it. Then when I get home I just put on Wildflowers again, because it's already on the tray, haha.B wrote:I have my first 10 albums in one of those boxed sets, which is a great way not to listen to them. Re: No Code Vinyl
Got a notification with tracking number for the No Code clear LP from 10c.
Not sure if they just printed it or if it’s actually shipping.

That’s what I was assuming too just from reading the description on 10c. Glad to hear it’s confirmed.tragabigzanda wrote:Reports on The Porch that this is the exact same pressing as 2016
“First time pressed on vinyl since release” lol
I mean, true by technicality?

had the OP years ago, and I either lost it in a move, or gave it away, can't remember which. i might pick this up, but i do prefer the non-"avalanche" Who You Are.bodysnatcher wrote:That’s what I was assuming too just from reading the description on 10c.
