Why would the viewer need to be embarrassed about anything in them? Sure, stuff they don’t like, but embarrassed? The viewer didn’t make the movies.
I guess that's up to who's posting.
I put up things that I thought the filmmakers should be embarrassed about, but it could certainly be things that make you embarrassed to be a Star Wars fan.
Ok, in that context, you kinda make sense. But these are still just lists of things people don’t like about them.
And never be embarrassed about stuff you like. If YOU like it, that’s all that matters. Fuck what other people think.
I don't like them bringing the Emperor back. I think it was lazy story telling. But it wasn't so egregious that JJ Abrams should call me to apologize.
He SHOULD call me and apologize for the Finn and C3PO stuff. He doesn't have to apologize for the Chewy hug, b/c he's already admitted that he made that mistake.

It’s beautifully shot, but easily the worst for the story and the characters. I don’t even think it’s original in a creative way. It tries too hard to subvert expectations in all the wrong places, and have nothing new to say in others.
Canto Bight was dreadful. A ham handed political message, in the middle of a terrible side plot. Might be the worst segment in the history of Star Wars.
Canto Bight basically hits you over the head with what it's trying to say. Then it adds Rose's monologue to make sure you understood what they were going for.
