Re: The Running Thread
Joe, do you wake up every day looking for ways to exercise your insecurity, or does it come naturally? Only a massive douche would find that condescending.

Re: The Running Thread
Running is whatever you want it to be. For me it’s both excruciating hard work and a hippie dip pie high

Re: The Running Thread
Did not mean to condescend. I'm on a months long runner's high currently and wanted to share my feelings, that's all.
I think we all have goals when getting out there, of course. For me it's building endurance to get me farther for longer. Then I can push it am extra mile or two on a run and see more things or find that elusive moment of clarity.
Really just glad we have activity in this thread this summer.

I certainly wasn't offended by your post. As I said, I was touched that you thought of me and I really appreciate that. Posting here again and having these conversations has been awesome. I'm with you on the thread activity.washing machine wrote:Did not mean to condescend. I'm on a months long runner's high currently and wanted to share my feelings, that's all.

Goddammit, Reid. If you're not careful you're gonna get me back on Strava.

Just block the athletes you don't want seeing you. Strava makes it kind of hard since you have to be on desktop mode (I think) to do it, but it can be done. Imma do it with tree for sure.epilogue wrote:Goddammit, Reid. If you're not careful you're gonna get me back on Strava.

Re: The Running Thread
Was going to run this morning. But after six miles and swimming at the beach all day yesterday, my muscles are sore as shit. Especially my gluts and hamstrings. So I took the day off. Didn't lift either.
I'll run tomorrow.
I'll run tomorrow.
