X2

I stated to the wife on 5-6 occasions “I have no f@&$!) idea what’s going on right now” whilst watching the finale.

Was I entertained ? YES

Am I disappointed we didn’t receive some kind of ending/end credit scene giving us some answers ? Yes

Am I excited about season 2 ? Hell yes.

Do I want to wait two years to find out the answers ? Not really

ill try to explain the ending as i understood it
Spoiler: show
he who remains was Kang. or at least a variant of kang (based on the outfit id almost say it is the immortus version of kang). ill admit i was a little worried that the kang in the MCU was going to be a bit of a joker. as he explained to the loki's in detail he basically won the kang war and was what he thought the best option as he didnt want to rule as so much keep things in order. sylvie kills him and as he said there will be a kang to take his place now that the time lines are all out of control. when loki returns to the TVA their timeline was affected and thus never met this variant loki so they are trying to assess what is actually going on with the time lines when loki shows up. the statue at the end points to kang being behind the TVA and not the time keepers

Thanks Peeps. That filled some gaps.

I’m not sure that was a satisfying ending to it? It had some resolution but not in the way I would have liked? Not Typical marvel at all which I guess It has going for it.

I dunno. A bit flat given all that came before.

i dont think there was going to be any pretty bow to wrap this all up given what transpired. season two is announced and with there now being a full fledged multiverse some questions will be answered further down the line in dr strange and the next spider-man movie as well as other movies coming out (ant-man 3)

Yeah. They were never gonna full-out resolve it in this show. I’m just wondering how far down the line Season 2 is gonna be. Are they gonna wait until after Ant-Man 3?

yeah this show's sole purpose was to set up the next marvel phase having to do with the multiverse. and kang the conqueror is the big baddy now.

So this was basically a trailer for a movie coming out in a few months?

It’s all interlinked now. TV show sets up movie. Movie sets up TV show which sets up another movie. It’s a glorious thing. I’ve been waiting for something like this since I was a kid.

This would be insanely confusing if you didn't know Jonathan Majors was Kang.

Not my idea, but a youtube video I was watching suggested that Marvel should have given Dr. Strange 2 a fake name, and then changed it after this show aired.
