Temple of the Dog - 25 Years

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

That last part of:

But if somebody left you out on a ledge
If somebody pushed you over the edge
If somebody loved you and left you for dead
You got to hold on to your time till you break
Through these times of trouble

Still gives me chills everytime.
That is my favorite verse on the album as well.

Me too. I love that verse so much, especially turned up to 11.:bammer:

p.s. My love for this verse leads directly to my dislike of the abortion that is "Footsteps".

As a kid i hated footsteps so much. I thought it was such a lazy song, a disgrace really. I come to terms about liking both of them with time.

I’ve done it like three times, otherwise sought out specific tracks. I appreciate it much more than I enjoy it.
Same, but I also have zero nostalgia for the the early 90's Seattle scene as I was too young to experience it at the time.

Crazed Pearl Jam fan since 91, huge fan of later stage Soundgarden (Superunknown, Down on the Upside), and yet i never actually owned, or listened to this full album till maybe 10-12 years ago?

For some reason i had the Hunger Strike/Times of Trouble CD single, loved both song, yet never felt compelled to hear rest.

Anybody that says Matt Cameron can’t groove or has no groove needs to listen to that song.

I was annoyed by the lack of Eddie when I bought this in 92. It’s a desert island disc for me now.
