Zola.

One of the movies of the year for sure. Looks amazing, its super fun and the cast is great. both Taylour Paige and Riley Keough are out of this world.

Do The Right Thing. Sixth last movie of my 80s run. Left to see are Pathfinder (Veiviseren), Cinema Paradiso, Mississippi Burning, Rain Man and Dirty Dancing. Seen all before, but it’s been a various amount of years.

Finally rewatched The Master for the first time since seeing it in theaters. Remained a really powerful movie whose themes for some reason hit me emotionally in a way that they only did intellectually in the first viewing (which seems kind of worrying). Also in addition to the three main performances that are all powerhouses, I'd forgotten about the quality of the supporting cast, including a bunch of people who'd end up being bigger names and Oscar winners later on.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Nocturnal Animals. Really moving, heartwrenching. Wasn't expecting that. Pretty impressed.

I will never watch this again. Powerful movie, but made me sick watching parts of it.

I'll probably watch it again to show it to my wife in the next few days, just in case she's secretly thinking of leaving me.

To each their own, but I never found her hot. Matronly, lovely, charismatic, but not hot.

Captain Corelli's Mandolin - I honestly didn't think this was that bad, other than the whitewashing

Rain Man

Final movie of my 80s run. Always have a good time watching this. Also look forward to all the 90s movies.

good grief...if i didn't know, i'd think it was a tommy wiseau movie twenty minutes in

i haven't looked at any reviews, read any fan reactions, etc...but the person i went with, who i know has questionable movie taste, said he didn't think it was that bad

this was just next level bad to me...and at the end of the day i probably like more m. night films than i dislike
