tried the new He-Man show

I don't care about the stuff most people are losing their minds over (they didn't even name it He-Man) but I just found it kinda boring, and I hate the "mad at superhero cos he didn't reveal his secret identity to me" trope, it's juvenile (that's not information you're owed?!)

I started this yesterday and got an episode an a half in. Never was a big He-man fan as a kid. It's alright, I mean it's no War for Cybertron, but it passes the time alright

season 2 got better in the second half, but it was still uneven as hell

Joe Blake is such a terrible character

the protagonists aren't worth rooting for, and their complexities aren't even that interesting...i'm not moving on to season 3 any time soon

Watched the first season of outer banks. It’s maybe the dumbest show I’ve ever seen, edging the first season of Riverdale (didn’t continue further seasons).

It’s a bland, teeny bop version of Ozark. I love Charles Esten, tho.

Riverdale is a great show.

That first season is perfect gonzo pulp pop. If you don't like S1 you were right to bail. But I truly think it's one of the strongest shows on tv. It knows exactly what it is and what it's doing, and it's doing it all up to 11.

Also, the look! The lighting! The mood and tone and color! Gorgeous looking show. Oozes stylization.

Fuck! I can't wait until the it returns in August! I've really missed it.
