Indeed. Would be $50k per day to holdout. Still reportedly unhappy. I bet a deal gets done soon. He's too important

Preston Williams starting year on PUP. With the receiver corps so robust and him seemingly never healthy, I doubt they keep him around much longer. Could be a superstar one day.

Apt, but please don't bring that man into the Dolphins thread again. Thank you.

Remember when a 5-10 Dolphins team beat the Patriots and deprived them of the #1 seed?

Re: the miami dolphins
Which time? We were in line to be the #1 seed so many times over the years, and even made it to and won a couple super bowls as the #2 seed in the AFC. Was that the win that got Dan Campbell hired in Detroit? Remember him? I'd forgotten about him until that press conference introducing him as the HC of the DL.

And he’s requested a trade.

He said the he didn't completely understand or feel comfortable with the extension he signed like 2 years ago that made him the highest paid cb at the time

I guess they have a lot of faith in Iggy to fill his shoes. But god damn, what a loss.

Don't mourn too quickly, they have him under contract for four more seasons, and have tons of leverage as a result.tree_ wrote:I guess they have a lot of faith in Iggy to fill his shoes. But god damn, what a loss.

Re: the miami dolphins
Thanks for saying that, but I don't see this working out. Grier loves his first round picks and is likely to get something out of a trade.

Re: the miami dolphins
How is Devante Parker still injured? He should probably just retire at this point JFC

Re: the miami dolphins
Looks like he's on the PUP list, which is a designation they have to use at the start of camp or they lose the ability to do so. They can take him off it at any time once they think he's ready, while saving a roster spot in the meantime.tree_ wrote:How is Devante Parker still injured? This is the most excited and hyped I've been for a Dolphins season in a long time, even moreso than last year. I still don't buy into the defense being as good as some think, but the offense could be light years better with Tua making the leap and the team having some actual weapons (if any of them can fucking stay healthy, LOL)
