Enjoying the new Gojira.

Yeah it's good. It hasn't blown me away yet but it's solid. They're one of the most consistently good bands going.

I enjoyed parts of it, but it sounds too polished overall. Bring back the grit I say.

Had the new Yautja on repeat for the past few days. Admittedly wasn't familiar with the band before this but this one really sunk it's claws into me.

Great stuff if you like chaotic sludgy shouty things.

What is it about that song specifically that you like? Cause it's pretty typical of a lot of Mastodon's newer work. Or maybe it's that Brann (the drummer) is the lead vocalist on that one?

The only reason I recommended Blue is the massive overlap between fans of Mastodon and Baroness.
