Look at you and your "precautions"
That's (one of the reasons) why I have 19 working systems hooked up and ready to roll! I want these systems to work 20 years from now too!
I admire your discipline.

I just started this too. I finished the prologue. I wish the battles actually showed the mechs and enemies rather than basic pixel representation.

TOBY: The Secret Mine on the Switch.

A mobile game that tries its best to ape LIMBO. It was only $1.50 and took me about 45 mins to beat.

I'm still having a blast with it, though I fear I'm nearing the end. A Plague Tale (PS5 upgrade) is next on my list.

V Rally 4 on the Switch.

I'm pleasantly surprised by how challenging it is, and the level of tweaking you can do to your car's settings like gear ratio, brake bias, ride height etc.

Hooked on Disco Elysium after a 2.5 month break. Have to see how this ride ends.

It ended about 10 minutes after my last save point, haha.

On to Plague's Tale. Pretty tropey story and tired gameplay so far, but I'm going to stick with it for a bit longer.

Update: Plague's Tale is still a bit basic, but I'm enjoying the light puzzles, stealth, and setting. A great example of PS Plus/GamePass game that I would never play if it wasn't part of a service. Hitting the sweet spot of a 10-15 hour game too.

Awesome good update. I'm jumping into it this weekend. I played like the first 20 mins, agree the gameplay will certainly not evolve into anything extraordinary but I dig the setting and looking forward to an entertaining story. Solid reviews across the board too and a sequel on the way next year, which given the popularity of this one will likely have higher production values...

Mass Effect

Have never played the first installment. Kind of excited to dive into/revisit the trilogy over the next year or so.

Has anyone checked out Death's Door? It looks amazing. Devolver Digital never seems to miss, and I've seen it described as "Zelda Souls", which is perhaps the best mashup possible.
