i did great, relatively speaking, though my heart rate was ridiculously high...i was walking periodically a good bit and i thought my time was at least 2 minutes longer than it was, but i must have been running faster in general than i realized

there were quite a few attractive 18-19 year olds, but i couldn't bring myself to mack on them

i honestly didn't know what to expect, and based on the inconsistently of my normal runs i feel like it could have gone either way...i do seem to forget about race adrenaline though...there were around 1500-1700 participants, but it was a charity thing so i'm sure there were more than a few walkers or people going very slowly...my initial goal was to finish in the top half and i'm pretty sure i did, so i am eager to see the results

welp i finished 168 out of 1053 finishers...a lot of walkers and such, but i'm very happy with my place
