LeVar Burton canceled

Anyone who gloats over someone getting cancelled for minor shit like that needs to spend sometime asking themselves exactly what kind of world they are aiming for. Presentism is one of the worst things about progressives.

That sounds like an exaggeration of what McNear's article actually said, which was that he called the non-LP but shorter than average height producer of his podcast a word that's no longer PC for LPs.
I had to look it up. I don't really care what he did. I just wanted LaVar Burton hosting Jeopardy.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I'm still a few weeks behind, haven't gotten to him yet. I thought Buzzy did the best of who I've seen so far.

He was coaching other people auditioning while secretly being in the running himself. He was part of the group that selected which tapes of each guest host were sent to the focus group for reaction. And by golly, his tape ended up being the best of the bunch!

He's a weasel who weaseled his way into a gig and then got shit canned because gosh, someone like that actually turned out to be a scummy person.

Cancel culture goes too far all the time, but this is not one of those times.

If the host of Jeopardy is not moral, then none of us can be.

He tried to use a position of power to give himself a vanity gift, jerking other people around in the process, only to have the backlash of this narcissistic exercise blow up in his face.

If you're telling me that finding a little enjoyment in that comeuppance is equatable to canceling someone for a fifteen year old social media post....I have to assume you're trying to convince me that cancel culture is awesome, because the first thing definitely is.
