It is an exaggerated version of Juno Temple's real accent and it feel a bit over the top to my earsepilogue wrote:Doesn't do it for you?Mecca wrote:That voice, thoughwease wrote:I think I’m falling in love with Keeley.

Re: Ted Lasso: Believe
there's some people saying that season 2 is too corny/wholesome? I feel like they're building towards something happening that makes that bottom fall out, thoughdoug rr wrote:what backlash?

Yeah I'm seeing a lot of comments about it being too treacly, which is funny because that was most people's selling point for season 1

Re: Ted Lasso: Believe
the main difference right now is that in Season 1, Ted's Midwest optimism and being a fish-out-of-water grated on the other characters and they slowly came around to the virtues he extolled to their own chagrin. Season 2, people are just seeming to go along with it.Jorge wrote:Yeah I'm seeing a lot of comments about it being too treacly, which is funny because that was most people's selling point for season 1

Sudekis said three seasons and its done.
I hope thats the case. No reason to drag the usual drama/cat and mouse shit out.

Re: Ted Lasso: Believe
The article I read in the NYT framed it a bit differently.Strat wrote:Sudekis said three seasons and its done
JS ( or maybe it was Bill Lawrence not JS?) said the original story idea they pitched was three seasons. A beginning (S1), a middle (S2) and an end (S3) to their original story idea.
The team has gone on to say that it could be more seasons if more story comes. Or they choose to explore a new idea outside is the original story concept.

Re: Ted Lasso: Believe
We just finished the first season last night. The bit with Jamie and his dad was crushing. When he was describing it earlier in the season, I didn’t realize it was still happening. Just thought it went on when he was a kid.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!
