If you think the vaccine will keep you from going in the hospital or dying then awesome, people should take it. The problem with the vaccine is delta and whatever other variants are going to continue to spread like crazy , no matter if everyone takes the vaccine or not. That of course leads to morbidly obese govs feeling like they have to "do something" and ordering 10 percent effective mask mandates that only idiots like spike have still been following.

And not stopping transmission has us with vaccine passports coming in with no exemptions. If you are not able to take the vaccine, going out is basically not an option. The vaccine is shaping up to be a twice a year mandatory flu shot. I have nothing against that but imagine it is a a depressing though to those who cannot medically take the vaccine that they are not even given the choice to take the risk to go do mundane things like eat in a restaurant or see a movie.
not sure where you're getting 85% fully vaccinated from. i'm seeing 67.5% as of two weeks ago.

also seeing over three quarters of your hospitalizations are unvaccinated patients.

everyone taking the vaccine is exactly what would stop variants and spreading. and lol, you're wearing a mask like a good boy. stop trying to act hard, no one's buying it.

I get that. But there's a huge population here that can get the vaccination but choose not to. And they are getting hospitalized and dying because of their choice, not because they can't get the vaccine for health reasons.

Those figures are for all BC and includes people under 12. 84.696% one dosed and 76.318 double dosed of eligible takers. Take the vaccine, it helps but it's not working like hoped. However I was wrong, I pulled the 85% double dosed from the single dosed field.

Getting them all vaccinated does not seem to be the panacea we hoped for. Getting vaccinated is only one of many personal responsibility steps. If you want people to stay out of hospital and/or dying you should equally be promoting/mandating losing weight and being physically active every day. Accept just as many excuses for these latter two as you do getting vaccinated.

it's awesome that those eligible seem to be getting the vaccine, but when trying to understand infection spread, you can't omit the under 12s. that's a huge chunk of hosts, you know?

You can't include those not eligible. Especially when Covid is less harmful so far to that segment of the population than the regular flu.

They'll probably do like there's talk of here. Only let vaccinated people in and do it in a contolled way to limit exposure, enforce contact tracing etc...

you're likely just considering the eligible, as i mentioned above to sd...
The country jumped out ahead of all other countries on vaccines, and 78% of eligible Israelis over 12 years old are vaccinated.

But Israel has a young population, with many under the eligible age for vaccination, and about 1.1 million eligible Israelis, largely between the ages of 12 and 20, have declined to take even one dose of the vaccine.

That means only 58% of Israel's total citizenry is fully vaccinated. Experts say that's not nearly high enough.

Hey - I've been loving the lack of tourists. Other then that it's all been life as usual up until a week or two back. To answer your question though - yes!
