I would say the right’s reaction to woke liberalism (Trump & the like) was a pretty big contributing factor as well.

Oh good. I thought it was the murders of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Have you ever asked yourself why you know about those particular events and not the dozens of other police involved killings that year?

Because you can watch video of the police killing them both?

Are you familiar with Daniel Shaver?

Ah fuck, the cops killed an unarmed white guy that year?

You're right. Racial tension is because some white people got woke. Carry on.

The Daniel Shaver video is as disturbing as the George Floyd video, if not more so. The cop that pulled the trigger essentially got off scott-free.

Welp, Minnesota is at it again.

a couple 14 year old girls at Prior Lake Highschool freshman, 14, recently made some super super fucking awful racist videos attacking well...fuck. Its really fucking hard to watch. Telling a few black people to kill themselve.s

its vulgar. Its awful.

I'm sure it will be real national news shortly.

My nephew goes to this school and is in their grade. My sister is keeping him home now because its no longer safe to be there and there is police presence at the school. The girls are getting death threats, the online mob is ready to fix prior lake all together.

It all just fucking sucks.

These kids are 14 and what they did is no excusable but they are fucking 14 with clearly no role models. And now you have the woke mob threatening to kill them. Or descend upon Minnesota and fix this schools problems themselves.

I hate everything.

Sounds like the Ahmaud Arbery case, despite the defense screwing the pooch with the "black minister" comment, its not as cut and dry as the initial coverage.

Its like a funhouse mirror reflection of the Rittenhouse case. The defendants in this case, thought they were doing a citizen's arrest, kind of like Huber and Grosskreutz might have considered themselves doing with Rittenhouse. Similarly, the home owner comes off as suspicious as Sal and Sam do.

The difference is that the cops basically told them to hold this guy at gunpoint until they arrived, and had been warning locals thay Ahmaud was suspected to be armed.

Might still be held responsible for murder, but as far as who gave them the authority to try to stop this guy, oof.

Still murder, but WTH.

It was the general plan of what to do if they saw him from previous discussions with the cops, not directions from dispatch.

Rittenhouse is going to become a right wing hero, isn’t he?
There’s going to be other vigilantes, aren’t there?

And what do you mean by vigilante exactly? Someone who defends people's property from violent looters and rioters in a situation in which there is no law, and who defends himself when attacked? Is that what a vigilante is? Why wouldn't I want more of that?
