i got antsy watching 100 Foot Wave, and wanted to get out and be active. pushed myself through an afternoon walk in low 90s, with no shade.
i choose stupidity.

Re: the walking thread
another morning walk before the sun woke up. these early morning walks are just right, low 70s, slight breeze. the only hiccup today was crossing paths with a very big spider web w/homeowner there--not a fan. luckily, i was able to get around it all without disturbing things.
i did the math last night, and as of today, i've walked over 100 miles this month.
getting after it, boys.
love,
dad

Re: the walking thread
I rarely Strava log my walks, but when I do, there's usually something I think others would find interesting about it. In yesterday's case it was a refreshing coconut from a vendor.dad wrote:Reid is out here supporting the 4mph grind.Ello Sailor wrote:I hope Reid isn't embittered by the roaring success of this lovely thread.

Re: the walking thread
You get used to them in the AM. If you ever decide to go for an early morning trail run, it's thrilling to see a web fastly approaching you in the light of your headlamp. Dodging them feels like a game of temple run.dad wrote:the spider though.

Re: the walking thread
I’ve already put together a list of trails I want to walk that are a 25-30 min drive from the house.
