Thank you somebody for saying this. The guy is excited about a new record and he gets nitpicked for it on here. Fucking unreal.

The first clip we hear, what is that? FD? Could it be yellow moon?
Wait was it nothing? They don't mention it at the end. Hmmm

I don't believe that, they had a lot of obvious fun. It just wasn't cringe-worthy to watch.ABNorman wrote:But that's only because they were ever so fearful of seeming to have fun back in those days.harmless wrote:I haven't seen it but I can imagine. Re: Lightning Bolt - October 15
Because I was just wondering about what kind of people were posting here, because most people are 'just' their nickname and what they write, and their avatar, unless they are friends in real life as well so you know more. Then something like this video suddenly makes it personal. And since this was about disabled (for lack of another word) people and how they are usually (not) portraited, my initial reaction was to respond in jest. Which is less fun if it has to be explained, of course. But I smiledharmless wrote:Why?Mirella wrote:I know, it was just funny to emphasize, I thought.harmless wrote:Well, there's me, so yeah.Mirella wrote:Us? They're doing a good job of keeping everyone interested with something new every week. It makes the wait so much easier.
Having never heard the mini leak from a while back, Getaway sounded great.

Three months ago everyone thought they were going to fuck this up royally but it's been about as good of a rollout for an album as I've ever seen, considering they had 3 months to fill.scrub12 wrote:They're doing a good job of keeping everyone interested with something new every week. Re: Lightning Bolt - October 15
OK, yeah, and I'm sorry if my reply seemed rude. It's just, you know, watch for how often disabled people are employed to interview famous bands (or anyone) on your TV screens. It's unfortunately a rarity. And if they are on TV, you can usually guarantee that a lot of attention will be paid to their disability. Not here, which I thought was good.Mirella wrote:Because I was just wondering about what kind of people were posting here, because most people are 'just' their nickname and what they write, and their avatar, unless they are friends in real life as well so you know more. They could have at least had the decency to use clips from songs that haven't already leaked.

That was a waste of time really. They cut away from everything one second after another and then we hear a question asked but either no answer or just a cut up few words of the answer. I get it was a teaser type thing but honestly I got as much out of the press photos for the album as I did this.
