Re: The National
i'm on vol. 2 now, which has a lot of I Am Easy To Find songs--nine of them. i feel like these songs translate so much better in a live setting. wish Not in Kansas was on here as well.
also, i just looked at the tracklist for vol. 3. damn, i need to get my hands on that one.

one of the last times we saw the national was at a pre-show at a tiny rando food hall in chicago on the I am easy to find tour. they played a stripped down version of sorrow, and before starting it matt said that they swore that they would never play it again after that experience.dad wrote:man, i bet that is quite the listening experience. was it six hours...is that right? have you listened to it all?Simple Torture wrote:For some reason, the Light Years book/vinyl was where I drew the line. which one of you already are?
by the way, i only have these on vinyl. so i won't be listening to them today.

I haven’t been there in a bit. But it looks like a lot of the original vendors pulled out because of Covid.

Ah, yeah; I see some in my unofficial folder already so looks a mix of FM and WEBCAST sources I bet. There were only a handful of actual SBDs circulating for ages.dad wrote:the OP said "soundboard," but they're all mp3.oasisfan35 wrote:Thanks!dad wrote:found this on reddit if anyone is interested: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/fold ... jrcjOj6Dw5

MP3s rarely have good source info in the tags, lossless sources almost always have a txt file with details but I'll take what I can get.

The Cyrano soundtrack is out November 26 via Decca Records. The first single “Someone to Say,” is out this Friday (October 8). The album also features a new song from the National called “Somebody Desperate"
Sometimes I wanna drive around and find you
