Now that I’ve gotten a window into guitar culture and all the gearhead stuff … it’s interesting but it’s also a little much.
Don’t fret.
I see what you did there.

Jumbo or medium jumbo?
Whatever I’m giving. My meaty paws are fine either way

Yeah you’ve been hyping that up quite a bit … to the point where when it doesn’t actually happen, you’ll still tell us that it did.

Got the guitar. Love it it’s beautiful and feels great though currently strung with 11’s when I prefer 10’s.

Hopefully it’s Alive when I return from my trip. W

Look at Strat rolling in so much money he can afford both in the same week.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Thinking back on this…

High school band:
- Lead = Washburn Lyon (strat style)
- Rhythm = I wanna say PRS but don’t know for sure. It was ugly.
- Bass = Squier jazz bass

Post-college band:
- Lead = PRS and I’m thinking probably a nice one
- Rhythm = Strat and pretty sure a legit Fender
- Bass = No clue

I wish strat would put his dick away and give us a review and sound sample of the guitar.

Sweetwater is doing a $5,000 giveaway.

What’s on your wishlist for $5,000 worth of gear?

Man, this new guitar goes from aggressively violent to beautiful in the link of an Eye. Love it. Sustain is great. Frets feel amazing. Im actually really digging the 11's on it as well.

I love P90's so much.

Beautiful collection, man. I'd have a hard time pulling myself away from the SG, but they all look great.

(Although that acoustic should really be a Martin or a Gull, and you need a nice bass).

Certainly could use an upgrade on the acoustic. I got that on a musicians friend deal of the day. $550 down from like $900 so i went with it.

The SG is nice but needs some work. Neck pickup is dead and needs some soldering (maybe more as it has been worked on before), and some TLC. Years ago I had it in a soft case int he back of my car. I went to grab it and pull it out but it slid right out the bottom of the bag (zipper was broke) and smashed on the ground. Headstock was split damn near off. Had twin tone guitars in MPLS piece it back together but i feel like its never been the same since.

I think i just need to bring it back into a top luthier to get cleaned up and get that neck pickup going again.

I dont live near anyone worth a damn. Huge downfall for living in the mountains. I have a couple numbers for some guys in the denver area but its difficult to set that up and drive 2-3 hours away.

But....its time.

Do it, brother. I could understand putting it off if it were an Epi, but it's a bloody Gibson SG!

Keep us posted.
