It is probably time we just give Texans what they want. Let them be their own country. We can make D.C. or Puerto Rico our 50th so it doesn't mess up flags and other patriotic stuff.

I don’t know. I don’t want to renew my passport just to take a trip down there to get bbq or shake shack.

I guess once Texan society rapidly crumbles, we can go in and conquer them. Make them a colony or whatever and shut them up for good.

I found one that must have opened somewhat recently, and after we parked and were walking towards it, the wife spotted a fancier burger place across the street, so we went there instead. Probably ended up being almost 2x the price.

To twist the knife further, I had to go to the shake shack just to get functional straws.
