expect to give your best. you'll do great, and 0900 is a way better time to run.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:9:00...i don't know what to expect performance wisedad wrote:what time is the run tomorrow?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i didn't look, but probably not terribly hot...I went at 1:00 so not the best time of the daydad wrote:what was the temp?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:short practice run before tomorrow's 5k...it was hot

i'm not a morning runner, but that shouldn't be a bad time all things considered...gives me enough time to sleep in a bit and get some oatmeal in medad wrote:expect to give your best. you'll do great, and 0900 is a way better time to run.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:9:00...i don't know what to expect performance wisedad wrote:what time is the run tomorrow?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i didn't look, but probably not terribly hot...I went at 1:00 so not the best time of the daydad wrote:what was the temp?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:short practice run before tomorrow's 5k...it was hot

it didn't feel like it, but i smashed my personal best and finished 137th out of 680

Re: The Running Thread
thx bro...i was looking at the results from 2019 and 2018 and my pace still would have put me around 220th place out of 1500-1600dad wrote:wow, nicely done!lennytheweedwhacker wrote:the race had around 800 less participants than normal - even less than the race i did a few weeks ago...i know covid and all, but i was shocked because is a famous local eventlennytheweedwhacker wrote:short practice run before tomorrow's 5k...it was hot

i still don't like running and feel like i'm going to die a mile in, but achieving something is nice
