It will inevitably be blamed on people not getting the vaccine that triggered the virus to become resistant to a vaccine it.. had... not been exposed to? Of course I'd put my family life on hold as long as the government deemed necessary!
Also, I was crammed into bars all night Saturday in Nashville. Flew on four different planes. Went to a 50k sporting event, ect. Do you really think I'm worried and scared?

It’s weird how you encountered all of these thousands of people going out and about just like you, yet you still post about how people are hiding from COVID like you spend all day inside on the Internet.verb_to_trust wrote:Of course I'd put my family life on hold as long as the government deemed necessary!

Oh, I’m well aware that you bring the Internet with you wherever you go. I’m saying that you have evidence in front of your eyes every time you go out that people aren’t reclusing from COVID. You just went on a vacation, surrounded by other people out and having fun just like you. But instead of noticing that change, you still talk about the world like someone whose last update was in January.

Re: Anybody want a Corona?
I don’t follow. Even in very high vaccinated nations, Israel for example, we are seeing wave after wave. The vaccines aren’t stopping infection and hijab viral load anymore and this not as effective at stopping mutations as they were 6 months ago. There are countries with much weaker national health systems and much lower vaccine availability have lower infection/death rates. The countries that have done the best seem to be the countries with lower comorbidities and/or aggressive border control (though to be fair this hasn’t helped Israel)spike wrote:these mutations are coming from lands with lower vaccine rates. vaccine availability - and hesitancy in nations with plentiful vaccine - are absolutely to blame.Bi_3 wrote:Infinity. Even in the US, the largest red (proxy for vaccine hesitation) v blue states don’t show that big a difference:
It really seems like the situation has moved past the “vaccines uber alles” stage, into endemic, but we haven’t.
