Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

does look pretty good though.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Re: Movie: The Batman (Battinson)
he's a great actor if you know more of him than Twilight, but "revolutionary" is still weirdly hyperbolic

Re: Movie: The Batman (Battinson)
I really want this to be good. I’d be okay if they skip over the Batman origin story and plunge right in.
Never cared much for the Bruce Wayne/Selena Kyle subplot either.

Re: Movie: The Batman (Battinson)
The Selena thing feels totally unnecessary
I know we’ve only seen this small trailer but it doesn’t look like the dark noir thing was promised.
It looks like a batman action film/ video game
I hope that trailer being the first one, is just misleading us a little and just showing us clips of all the action sequences to get people on board. And there’s more to it than just this
