Anyway, Team Nate once again. Only quibble I might have is that I'm more bearish on masks, but he is 100% correct that they are (pun intended) sucking up way too much of the oxygen in the discourse. I'm probably slightly more bullish on booster shots, but the main vaccine mandate needs to be at least one jab.

Pretty reasonable stuff here. I'm more bearish on both masks and boosters, though I guess I can understand offering boosters for the most vulnerable from a better safe than sorry perspective. I think those dosages could do a lot more good being offered to people (from here or anywhere else) that hasn't received a first dose.

Joe’s mandating vaccines for all federal employees and contractors with no option for testing, to set an example for the private sector. Not sure how effective that last part will be, and it will almost certainly be a slog to get anything going.

Also free, expanded testing since kids are getting infected all over the place now.
