Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Maybe they throw a curveball and Neo dies in this one... or maybe it's not Neo at all, thus the reflection in the mirror? I do like the idea of Neo being a virus of some sort. Like, we're happy here in the Matrix, leave it alone! But he can't help it. That'd be a fun twist.

Yeah, I don't know about this. Trailers can be misleading. Torch could be passed to new Morpheus after Neo and Trinity turn out to be the big baddies.

Yeah, I don't know about this. Trailers can be misleading. Torch could be passed to new Morpheus after Neo and Trinity turn out to be the big bosses and die. If that happens, I at least hope they wait til movie 3 to kill them off.

Kid was originally planned to have a large role in any Matrix Trilogy sequel. I'm not sure if that is still the case or if that character is in this in any capacity. He a different kind of "The One." But I'm not sure his incredible gift (self freeing himself from The Matrix) is actually useful or can be taught in anyway. A lot has changed in the past 15 years, but he was going to be the torch bearer.

Today's Hollywood doesn't care. Odds of receiving an Oscar nomination will increase substantially if a minority takes the reigns and old white guy turns heel.

i've never hated the sequels, but they're better as a rewatch... after years of lowering the bar in your mind.
