That's actually what turned me off about the trailer. The effects.

I'm sure I'll still see it. I think the story could be really cool. But it looks wrong.

I'm surprised at my own reaction, honestly.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Everything about it feels off. It's probably just something I need to get used to.

Hard disagree. Do yourself a favor and rewatch the whole series I bet you'll feel differently.
I started rewatching Reloaded since this is getting close. I haven't watched it since I went to a midnight showing on opening day, and after 20 minutes I realized I remember nothing about this movie.
I didn't remember that the freeway scene is 20 minutes long. I wouldn't cut a single minute.

That and the orgy are the only things I remember about the movie.

I remember the orgy being a big talking point when the movie came out--"Can you believe there's an orgy in this? How weird!"--but what the hell else would you do if you knew humanity had 72 hours to live?

Totally. I never had an issue with it. I remember it because it was compelling but because it was controversial.

The only thing I remember about Reloaded was the terrible special effects and horrible action. And something about a pussy cake or something?

I don't remember the last one at all.

The third movie is way better and far more memorable than the second one.
