Thats amazing. Tons of fake Aborigines in AUS and fake Maori in NZ. I thought it wasn't as common in North America, because the different timelines on recognizing First Nations/ Indian issues compared to Oceania, but maybe its the new easy to cling to, hard to disprove get out of being white card.

Hmm, I coulda sworn I saw some, "first Maori honors graduate in X" that appeared mostly European, but maybe y'all are more inclusive and do blood quantum than the US standard of kicking everyone out below a certain % ancestry.

Only finding examples of Australians claiming questionable Aboriginal acenstry at the moment.
