I have been on both boards for many years. I can give an honest view of both forums. The 10club forum have a lot of posters who don't know much about the band beyond Eddie Vedder. I have met people who have been a fan since the early 90's who have no idea who Stone Gossard is. Several members are more into pre-parties for the shows than the actual concerts, yet they will do anything to get tickets near the front including fuck one another.


This board has music lovers. And assholes.

I married my wife so that she'd have better access to PJ concerts.

we havent been to one before, but i think we are gonna check out the wishlist foundation one for the charlottesville show, its supposed to be with in walking distance of the arena so it wont be all that big of a deal to pop in on it

I have been to a couple Wishlist parties outside of Seattle and had a great time both times. I've also been to "the" big sports bar near the arena (outside Seattle) a couple times where it was clearly the unofficial pre-show PJ fan bar, and had a great time.

You can tell who the psycho zealots are and avoid them no problem.

I have been to a couple Wishlist parties outside of Seattle and had a great time both times. I've also been to "the" big sports bar near the arena (outside Seattle) a couple times where it was clearly the unofficial pre-show PJ fan bar, and had a great time.

I usually make plans to meet a few people at the Wishlist party. I'm sure there are nuts there, but I usually find who I'm there to meet, have a beer, and walk over to the show. It's where I've met everyone on this board that I've met, I think. I'm sure there are nuts there, but whatever.

I buy a sticker or something to support the cause.

I can't complain about those parties.
