I'm not at all optimistic. The best I could dream to hope for is a reduction in extremely poorly designed policies that aren't backed up by data and lack understanding that any covid mitigation policy has not only benefits but also costs.

Depends on the policy, obviously. But it does seem that even a terrible blunt force tool policy like a lockdown can slow the spread of covid for a time. So that could be considered a benefit.

And since this is probably what you meant, a bad enough policy may come close to providing no benefits.

I'm not certain that Mrs. B will even unmask my children after the eradication of all disease.
Now I understand.

If insurers stop fully covering covid treatment today, how soon do you think all the unvaccinated will die off?

No vaccine, but a lot of mitigation still in place such as masks and gathering restrictions, which supports that those restrictions helped keep infections down?

That will be rough on Husky and Seahawk crowds but I don’t think Mariners or Wazzu will be affected.
M’s game on TV and at least half the fans not wearing masks.

We should've tried it with GRIDS first, missed opportunity.

Our very wise Public Health professionals trotted out the recycled sentiment, "the stigma is worse than the disease" in the early days of our current pandemic. How can they be so wrong in ways that almost rhyme?
