Speaking of movies that looked kind of boring, News of the World was a lot better than I expected.

Trying to make it thru Casino Royale. Not having much luck. Too many distractions.

It's not as slow as it looks. It's even slightly action-packed at times

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

It’s up there with the very best at least. A bit difficult to compare with movies from the 60s.

It was the first time Bond didn’t feel hokey to me. I was never a big fan; everything felt so silly. But with CR suddenly I got the appeal. Maybe if I was born a decade earlier?
Have you seen the Timothy Dalton bond movies?

Im a huge Bond fan since i was a kid. Connery will always be the definitive one, but Daniel Craig is the best one.

Brosnan is number 3 for me.
