The whole London Breed fiasco is really demonstrating my latest pet peeve with adjudication of this pandemic: once you've got a rock solid vaccine mandate for certain locations, that should mean the end of any NPIs in that location. That's the whole point of a vaccine mandate, to get everything back to normal! So frustrating.

It’s logistics and readily available supply. For example, when my sister was looking into a booster, Walgreens said they wouldn’t have any on-site for a week or so. Since demand has dropped off, they’re storing this stuff or sending it overseas.

Then there’s the administrative side - logging third doses correctly in the various computer systems. Stuff like that.

Huh, there's been no supply problems here--my mom and her husband got their boosters promptly because the doses were going to go to waste otherwise. I sure wish that shit would get used since there's too many people in the surrounding counties that haven't even gotten one fucking shot....
