Yeah, that was actually surprising.jrut81 wrote:I liked Matt’s Corduroy count in. I’ve always preferred Jack’s intro and this version sounded akin to it.

Yeah Ed does the intro, but its not the "same" slow pace hes been doin for years. Its faster and he starts singing from the first chord hit If you get It from the begginning.Birds in Hell wrote:I was excited for a moment there - but nope, same ol' EV intro
But I agree its not the same from pre-2005, cause Stone is not playing it. Maybe a midterm from both intros.

At the risk of being laughed out of this thread, is there a video of "Take the Long Way"? I'm curious how it sounds.
Thanks!

There were other videos, but looks like this is all that's out there now:
The band seem to be very trigger-happy in taking down footage from the show.

Thanks for posting the link! The site says, "We offer all our concerts in FLAC format." However, I was only able to download an mp3. Did I miss something?Johnny Turner wrote:Ripped audio from full Facebook live stream is available here:

Love all the chat about Matt in this thread. New kit set up (dope), he has clearly thought more / rehearsed the older songs. And from the clips I've seen, he's been doing some interesting and different fills in the jams. Different space, slower pace... ?
