London Breed is a fool who should find it impossible to get elected for anything ever again, and Newsom only has his job because the Cali GOP is too far lost in its own narratives to successfully field and support a high profile recall candidate who doesn’t repulse moderates.

But if elected officials skirting their own laws when they don’t think they’ll get noticed is authoritarianism, then authoritarianism is all you’ve ever lived under.

I believe that tweet was in reference to NYC, not NY the state. But you're correct that the at least one dose stats for the black population has improved dramatically (to 44% vs. 60% for whites) which is something that should be celebrated. Disingenuous in nature as that tweet is, it's still a disparate impact that would be called out as racist elsewhere.
