I'm not sure this is going to make a good playlist, but I'm gonna try.

I love the dark/depressing stuff.
To add to those already listed... The End. Comes Than Goes. Long Road.

Re: Pearl Jam's Darkest and Most Depressing Songs
This is a tough exercise bc I think it all lies in the ear of the listener.
For example, I find In My Tree fairly depressing. And Thumbing My Way depressing. Both of them have optimistic views (or, at least efforts) in finding your way out of or dealing with a situation. But you have to place yourself in the horrible mindset of the person in the song to feel that eventual positive realization. And within that original place, you feel the darkness.
I’d agree that Binaural/RA is probably the most overtly depressive situations within their catalogue. Seemed like there was a feeling of hopelessness in a lot of those songs. Before that era, the characters in songs kind of wallowed and felt disillusioned in their stories. And after that era, the characters in songs tended to find positive ways out.

I was thinking there was more of a "see you when I get there" vibe, but it's not in the lyrics.VinylGuy wrote:i mean if you hate your wife or life´s partner....yeah, its hopeful.
