listened to ultra mono today finally

solid offering

'A Hymn' was a nice surprise

i also like (what sounds like) open ridicule of people ridiculing their lyrics in a couple songs :haha:

musically, these guys are still capable of more. i don't mean that negatively - i mean it like they are still 'young' ...

inching closer ... you can hear them starting to get there with their little vignettes

would love for them to expand that direction more on their next album

Got tickets for their show in Austin in October. Can't fucking wait.

Ultra Mono still really does it for me. Just fantastic.

I like the new stuff. Hopefully the album has more staying power than Ultra Mono.

I wore out the singles before it came out. By the time it dropped I was sick of it. Might be time to revisit.

I love ultra mono probably my fav Idles album.

I can’t wait to see what they’ve done with Crawler.

Not as instantly likeable as Ultra mono but still very very good.

Half way through CRAWLER and enjoying it. Not sure I agree with the placement of the opening track. But who knows, that one might be a grower.
