One thing about it and that episode.

It did eclipse the entire season.

It was Luke.

That was inevitable. That’s why they have to be so careful how or even if they use him from now on.
For myself and kind of a majority. He took over. Does anyone even remember the rest of the episode? I do because I’ve watched it umpteen times. But joe public hasn’t. Vast swathes of Star Wars fandom both sides, haven’t.

They have to tread carefully now if they plan on using him again.

That finale doc was great but…those Luke effects are even worse than I remember. And they even said they were going down the deep fake route and changed their minds! Some of those work in progress shots of the deep fake looked better than the finished product. WHYYYYYYYY

This decision sits right alongside the choice Lucas made in casting Jake Lloyd as Anakin instead of that clearly superior blonde kid shown in The Beginning documentary in the Hall of Fame of Bad Star Wars Decisions (Greedo shooting first rounds out the top 3).

The only way to get the Dark Saber is through battle. They can't just take it. Why would they take his armor? That's not what makes a Mandalorian. Look no further than Boba Fett. Also, as far as that cult is concerned even Bo Katan isn't Mandalorian for the same reason that Din isn't.
