Re: Anybody want a Corona?
for those times when i've had a little too much to drink and subsequently pass out, i try to remember to sit down to pee in the middle of the night to save myself the trouble of pissing on the floor or who knows where or what in an already disorienting situation.
sitting to pee is fine.
sitting to pee is fine.

I almost always sit down to pee at home I'm never really sure what direction that initial squirt is going. If I'm out and about my bad pee aim is everyone else's problem.

this has been known for awhile now. big reason why the vaccine for kids needs to happen if we don’t want masks forever.Bi_3 wrote:

Sure, in memos, I think it's just the first time she's gone on record clearing stating that vaccinated people transmit just like the unvaccinated and can be infected just like the unvaxxed. Hopefully this means she will be willing to admit that the vaccines are failing in under a year and thus we need boosters and whatever Merck's magic bean is approved like now plz k thnx.
As for kids... there might be an argument for natural immunity there. Are child hospitalization rates actually up significantly or are we just seeing more detected cases?

"Vaccinated people transmit just like the unvaxxed"?? Vaccinated people transmit much, much less than the unvaxxed.Bi_3 wrote:Sure, in memos, I think it's just the first time she's gone on record clearing stating that vaccinated people transmit just like the unvaccinated and can be infected just like the unvaxxed. Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Good call, I’d forgotten this part. Something about the vaccine killing of the virus much more efficiently, so less opportunity for it to be infectious. Same reason vaccines prevent severe cases.B wrote:"Vaccinated people transmit just like the unvaxxed"?? The vaccine doesn’t kill things. Vaxxed folx can transmit just like the unvaxxed, they just, usually, have a shorter window in which the transmission can occur. I sho up Ltd have been more clear on that so B was correctspike wrote:Good call, I’d forgotten this part. Right, kill was the wrong term. We’re on the same page.Bi_3 wrote:The vaccine doesn’t kill things. this was never going to be truly over until kids could get vaccinated.simple schoolboy wrote:The kid thing seems like a non sequitur.Bi_3 wrote:Sure, in memos, I think it's just the first time she's gone on record clearing stating that vaccinated people transmit just like the unvaccinated and can be infected just like the unvaxxed. But this thing is (very thankfully!) not particularly threatening to kids. Is your statement about the health/safety of kids or is it the idea that if lots of kids get vaxxed it further reduces opportunities for transmission to populations that are at risk?spike wrote:this was never going to be truly over until kids could get vaccinated.simple schoolboy wrote:The kid thing seems like a non sequitur.Bi_3 wrote:Sure, in memos, I think it's just the first time she's gone on record clearing stating that vaccinated people transmit just like the unvaccinated and can be infected just like the unvaxxed.
