I really liked this! A little long, and there is still 0 chemistry to speak of between Lea Seydoux and Daniel Craig, but this was so good

Really good stuff. Not Casino Royale good, but you can see why Craig wanted to come back for this after Spectre. Loved all the Majesty’s callbacks too.

Also, Ana De Armas wawaweewa

This is a meandering, convoluted mess saved by an emotional wallop of a climax. I did enjoy it overall. B+.
Spoiler: show
SPECTRE goes from operatic, high society, Eyes Wide Shut, high security-style gatherings to a low rent, drunken club party? And they're all taken down that easily? This smacks of overreaction to the relative negative reviews of the last movie so they could sweep those pieces off the board and reset a la Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker.

I do love that there's an overall narrative throughline to all the Craig movies, though. The loose serialization is right up my alley. I hope they continue that approach with the next series of Bond movies.

So is the kid Bond's daughter or not? Why did Madeline say she wasn't initially? Why lie?

Also what was with the mosquito bites comments she made in the car? I thought that was nanobot setup but it never went anywhere.

Yeah your last two points are bothersome.
Spoiler: show
Unless they’re setting up daughter of Bond as the next Bond… so stay tuned on that stuff?

More likely, just lazy cutting room floor shenanigans.

I’m usually all for longer, near-3-hour movies but this could’ve used at least 30 minutes of trimming.

The Ana De Armas scene was really fun, like a little movie of its own. I'd watch a spinoff with that character
