Also, not loving stones tone these last few shows.
Why do you hate Pearl Jam?
His guitar is too jangly! Now him and Ed’s guitar is jangly! Too much jangle. Not meshing.

Also, mikeS guitar is too low in DOTC. It was that way at Ohana too. That shit needs to lunch through.

this may have been mentioned in another thread, but the drum *intro for SBWM and Never Destination are the basically the same, and I can't believe i hadn't figured that out until now.

*at least in this show.

I've listened to lots of PJ bootlegs over the years, but I'm not as well versed as some of you on which years sound better. That said, I feel like this has way more low end and an overall more "live" sound than any of their previous bootlegs. I had this blasting in the car this morning and the punch of the bass and drums really pumped me up for the day.

It’s a pretty accurate representation of what they sounded like live at ohana at least. Big drums and bass.

Even noticeable in the YouTube videos. A welcomed change to the mix.

OK, so it's not just me hearing it. :)

Man, their excitement for playing Seven O'Clock makes even more sense to me now. What a euphoric live tune. All the goosebumps!

for anyone who was in attendance, did the crowd try to get Ed to do the call and response during Corduroy?

it sounds that way on the boot.

When the day comes when they fuck up Seven O'Clock, it's not going to be bad, it's going to be catastrophic. Lots of words. Lots.

The crowd did not try to get him to do it. The crowd sang the next verse when they expected it to start and didn’t stop, but there seemed to be no effort at a call and response. I haven’t listened to the bootleg yet, but that is my recollection - jamming like they were going to do the call and response but then not doing it. I thought that ended up working out pretty well.

I do remember this exchange:

Person seeing them for the first time: “Wow! Eddie Vedder is way more gregarious than I expected.”

My Wife: “He is way more focused than usual. Usually it’s a drunken ramble that makes no sense.”

Listening to the boot while doing overtime.
I like the Gigaton pun, hadn’t heard that before.
