I think we go with a simple "PLAY RIOT ACT" campaign.

This one took about 10 years before it finally clicked with me and became an album favorite.

excellent tune.
Probably because it's so complex and difficult to play. They tend to avoid songs that take concentration, which includes most of Matt's songs.

i don't know enough about Josh K., but given that he's a multi-instrument, surely they can pull off some of these Matt songs.

it's probably because he drummed for Soundgarden, but Matt's PJ songs--this one included--have a guitar tone that reminds me of XYZ Soundgarden songs. Evacuation is the other.

I think most specifically, the two songs i mentioned sound like they could've been on Down on the Upside.

that's just my ears hearing it.

I believe Matt plays guitar on these and his solo/WWC stuff has that kind of tone too.

You know Im no big fan of this song but I saw a live version from 2013 yesterday and was kinda shocked. I remember thinking Eddie's voice kinda declined in the late 00's and stayed kinda constant but man he sounded pretty good still in 2013 at least here. Has he gotten worse or was 2013 just an especially good resurgence? I do feel like he sounded oddly good in '13-'14
