Re: What movies are you watching?
I've only seen a handful of Bond movies, so I've decided to go through them. Watched Dr. No last night, which I've seen plenty of times. I'm skipping From Russia with Love because I watched it on tv a few weeks ago. Up next, Goldfinger, which I've also seen a bunch.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Im such a big fan of Connery. He was my favorite as a kid. The only one, because i always kinda hated Moore. Never cared for Dalton...then, Brosnan came and i really liked it...then Craig. My definitive one.

Re: What movies are you watching?
The only ones I can definitely say I've seen are the first three Connery films and Goldeneye. I know I've seen others here and there on tv over the course of my life but I have no idea which ones. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton movie, and I know I've never seen any of the post Goldeneye movies.

Dalton actually made a very good Bond. Very close to the books. Just bad scripts.Norris wrote:The only ones I can definitely say I've seen are the first three Connery films and Goldeneye. Before Craig I'm not sure that I've watched any Bond films. I really should remedy that

License To Kill
Rewatch.
Done all in a couple of weeks. Only the Brosnan and Craig-movies left now.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Difficult to rank the Bond actors.
Chronologically:
Connory - the first, had the most style and charm, effortless quality, better in the earlier movies
Lazenby - made one really good movie, but he did play the role the most stiff, and was the youngest and least experienced actor.
Moore - his worst movies are probably the worst in the collection, but he was the funniest and most easygoing Bond, which at times worked great.
Dalton - excellent spy, most believable. Not very charming and witty. Sadly, only two movies.
Brosnan - a couple of poor movies, but did bring back the charm of Connery, and the wit of Moore, Goldeneye is a classic.
Craig - tough like Dalton, the movies naturally look better than ever, and he was in the excellent Casino Royale. Uneven set of movies.

As a kid I thought Moonraker kicked ass for Jaws alone. He's like a boss out of Resident Evil. Terrifying.
