He’s a lot better in The Spy Who Loved Me.

You guys are missing the most important Bond. David Niven (and Peter Sellers) in the 1967 Casino Royale

Sean Connery’s Never Say Never Again is better, but neither are official parts of the Bond series. Neither is: Casino Royale (1954 TV), a U.S. television adaptation of Fleming's 1953 novel.

Watching GoldenEye now. Fun action-filled movie.

No Time to Die - I found this fairly medicore...some random thoughts:

-I just could not care about the plight, motivation of the characters...like Jorge said there is a big lack of chemistry between Bond and Madeleine, and that didn't help
-This is better than Quantum of Solace, but not as good as Skyfall...I'm not sure how it compares to The Living Daylights
-It's crazy that spy stuff like this happens almost everyday and we hear nothing about it
-I didn't care much for the No Time to Die song and intro
-I don't care to compare him to the other Bonds, but Daniel Craig has been great in this role and he's my favorite Bond
-It's also really impressive what a 60+ years old Bond can accomplish
-I've just never cared of Jeffrey Wright
-David Cross as a Russian scientist was...interesting
-There were some great shots in this
-In a private message Jorge made an observation about Rami Malek as the evil villain and based on the timeline I agree with him, but I didn't find it distracting
-I don't think this will have any replay value for me
And they say that a hero could save us
I'm not gonna stand here and wait

What did you think of the other Bond movies with Daniel Craig?

Casino Royale - Excellent
Quantum of Solace - Meh, but I probably need a re-watch. I don't even remember that much about it
Skyfall - Despite it's flaws, I really enjoyed this one
Spectre - It's somewhere between good and very nice

Daniel Craig is great. Love Ben Winshaw as Q. The villains are a bit hit and miss, despite the great casting of each.

I have similar views. Enjoyed Quantum Of Solace despite its flaws.

I think I've seen maybe four? Bond movies but I don't remember any of them very well.

Where's the best place to start? Chronological order? Pick a Bond and go? What?

The PB ones are the ones I know I've seen because my mom is in love with him. But again I barely remember them. An ice hotel maybe? A giant satellite? Is Sean Bean in one of them?

Sean Bean was in GoldenEye.

The best place to start is with Dr. No, the first movie, and watch at least the first three through Goldfinger. However, if you do not wish to sit through all the movies, there are some lesser ones, that are skippable. And if you just want to watch a few modern movies, it’s no problem to just watch the Daniel Craig movies.

Never Say Never Again was my first Bond movie. Then I watched the ones that came out after it. I went back later and watched the older Connery ones. Don’t think I’ve ever watched a Moore one start to finish. Dr No is probably my favorite but even though it’s the least cool choice Bronson was my favorite Bond.

If you don’t like older movies in general, then you are right. Don’t. But there is no doubt in my mind that several of the older movies, are superior to several of the newer ones in most ways.

Casino Royale is the best of the modern ones, and possibly the best of all. There are a few poorer ones though, especially the last two Brosnan movies.

nothing necessarily against older movies, but i do think this particular genre wouldn’t appeal as much to me…i’ve seen the first two, but if i can’t find much else to watch i suppose i could give one a try

I still wanna watch the one with Jane Seymour just cause she was so hot back then. That was around the time she was in that Sinbad movie and she was blazing in that.
