An Ode to Date Night

I said "here
kitty, kitty"
She starts to purr
kitty, kitty.
When I stroke her fur
kitty, kitty.

So good looking
as a matter of fact.
My baby she comes
when she scratch my back.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

just perfect

How would you separate them drifting apart pulling each until they fall off of each's own page
You open the book, drawn each to opposite ends being pulled, you're not going to close the book. You wish you never opened it

amazing
and how retreated
even though the distance gives me its earful
of one car going by and/or its echo

whoopty doo

the sky is a big clunk of thick nothing
fuck the neighbor and his retro fitted motion detecting whatever
what does he think he is, the mayor or something?

oh.
here comes the nurse of the town.
I'll bet you if I yell "hi" across these 3 yards she will act as if she's deaf or something

It doesn't matter

this outside used to be alive with throwing knives and honking geese and green and red and balls and all

But tonight it again returns to the un mysterious inmate of gray and whimpering

until once and for all that difficult 3-year old says Mommy

until the car starts

My neighbors are all trumpers. I forgive them. I love them.

Plus it's night

there is a little devil that runs around
just under my sight in the kitchen
underneath the choir he darts around
just within and out of sight

he's red and black with skinny arms & arrows
for hands
he thinks he is playing with my vision but I
know better than that because I see him
expecting him, he's fooling no one ,
I swear to God if my candy disappears
I swear to God

This is pretty dope. I could see it fitting into a post-hardcore tune. Or something Slint would do.

had a dream about you, we were making a meal with all kinds of stuff and with small potatoes
and I was hanging up a green towel and kissing you and kissing you and kissing you and I didn't think to myself that this is just a dream but what I did think to myself was wow this is real

I don't think you'll ever understand the mountain air at night in the summer when it's cold and hot and it makes your legs feel like they're fridge cycles.

& that's only on the outside.

Not everyone can carry their victims to the priest's house period .

You count them

Mutherfucker
