I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

re: Promising Young Woman. I think the movie is saying that she is the only sane person in an insane world. The society she live in is toxic and she is the only one that can see it. She has a duty to resist

As the only sane person in an insane world, she must do whatever she can to fix society. Knock some sense into toxic men and seek vengeance against those who are responsible for the death of her friend. She's the only sane person in an insane world, ya know?

Most of us watched Promising Young Woman months ago and we're still talking about it. I saw Venom 2 the day before yesterday and I already barely remember anything about it

Don't you two try to rope me into your GD-esque shenanigans. Let's keep the focus on the movies! What do you two think about my take on Promising Young Woman, that she is the only sane character in an insane world?
