Will continue my project of watching several movies from each year in a chronological order now, started with 1918-29. Currently at 97-99, which I’m watching in a jumble.

Just put on Sweet and Lowdown. Never seen it before.

They reference that movie a lot on The Rewatchables pod. And man do they hate that movie. They seem to think everyone hates it right along with them. I love that movie.

Yes, just finished, it was pretty good. Good performance by Sean Penn. Will watch The Insider as well now.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

epilogue wrote:I think I've seen maybe four? Bond movies but I don't remember any of them very well.

Where's the best place to start? Chronological order? Pick a Bond and go? What?

The PB ones are the ones I know I've seen because my mom is in love with him. But again I barely remember them. An ice hotel maybe? A giant satellite? Is Sean Bean in one of them?
I'm going chronological, revisiting if I've already seen them.
I just started Thunderball and I've definitely not seen this one before. I would have remembered that opening scene.

You know what, I'm just going to say it: James Bond is a sexual predator.

Thunderball was good but probably my least favorite so far. Some of it went on too long, especially the underwater fight scene.
