This is getting close.

I really remember loving this as a child.

Im watching the original now to get a sense of what its all about again. I feel it super fucking convoluted though. The names, the places, the way the story is told. Maybe its just the weird names and dated designs and graphics.

I hope i enjoy the new one!

I already saw this on the 5th and really liked it. I guess the US and UK release dates are over a month later than what they are in most of the Europe.

I’m still bothered by a shot in the trailer where they first show Paul with the blue eyes spiking the lens and it’s just the most blank expression ever. I can’t tell if it is just to try and have an emphatic beat of it in the trailer or what.

If it's a wet fart, does that get recycled back into the suit?

I enjoyed it....maybe a little surprised I didn't love it. I don't really have a reason why it was well made.

It was well made because the people involved care a lot and gave it their best effort.

This is the bond of water. We know the rites. A man's flesh is his own; the water belongs to the tribe.

Makes sense. That's the earliest showtime at the local Regal cinemas around here, too

I've been thinking about why I liked not loved this. I didn't care for Paul. Not the actor just the character. I mean "the one" is always the least interesting character in these sort of things but I just wanted more Jessica, more Leto, more Duncan, more Dr. Yueh, more Gurney (even in the books there is never enough Gurney) but necessarily I admit they spend most of the time on Paul. I mean they have too it's the story but I wanted more time with the others. Sorta wish it was a series.
