Have you seen Polanski's version?
More importantly, have you seen Scotland PA?

Black Widow (Marvel)
Not particularly good after the first 30 minutes. Felt like after they teamed up it lost all plot momentum. Was this even a BW movie? because Pugh seemed to get as much or more screen time in the second half

The Last Duel.
Well, this one was great. Ridley Scott is at the top of his game...he might be my favorite director working these days at this scope, maybe with Scorsese above him but he is doing more stuff....Fucking great movie. Loved the cast, loved the cinematography, the montage...the brutality.
Cant believe this guy has already completed House Of Gucci, and its premiering in a month (also they shown the trailer before this one and im dying to see it)

Finally pulled the trigger on the LotR trilogy 4k collection. I've heard great things and I sold my SD extended editions long ago.

I watched Moonstruck yesterday. The 1980s romantic comedy starring Cher and Nicholas Cage. I really liked it. It was so over the top but they leaned into that unapologetically. Some hilarious scenes, and the pacing was excellent.

Re: What movies are you watching?
I saw this one for the first time a couple months ago and I absolutely loved it. It's from the same writer as the writer/director of last year's absolutely bonkers Wild Mountain Thyme. I remember reading a review of Wild Mountain Thyme where the reviewer said that the director had won an Oscar for writing Moonstruck so he must've known how to write a normal movie at one point. Then I watched Moonstruck myself and realized that that guy had clearly never seen Moonstruck. It's totally bonkers itself! On every level! Loved itNorris wrote:I watched Moonstruck yesterday. Yeah at no point is Moonstruck not just completely off the wall bonkers. I loved every minute of it.
