Re: Atlanta Braves
Wow. I thought they could beat Milwaukee but didn’t think they would.
I don’t think the will go to the Series but then l again I thought they were done when Acuna went down.

Re: Atlanta Braves
I booked my hotel for the World Series. I'm all in. 20 less wins than SF or LA? Who dafuq cares. I'll break the bank for tickets - $1,000 a ticket if I have to. CopperTom does Atlanta!

Re: Atlanta Braves
Nip & tuck series going at least six with games not decided until late. Atlanta is the deserved underdog but they’re heavyweights too.

Re: Atlanta Braves
What had going on with Freddie Freeman?
Edit: whew, was not expecting Atlanta to up 2-0.

I purchased the last one right before the HR, 1B, HR, 1B of the Dodger second. It was all my fault.Bammer wrote:Yikes. Which inning did you post this in?CopperTom wrote:Got my World Series Tickets! Games 3, 4, & 5 here I come (once the Dodgers are defeated)!

Seriously though, how amazing was Tyler Matzek’s first three outs?

He's usually great, but he's been phenomenal in the playoffs. Will Smith is pitching the best he has pitched as a Brave too.Biff Pocoroba wrote:Seriously though, how amazing was Tyler Matzek’s first three outs?

Re: Atlanta Braves
As good as any I can remember. The 2nd 3 were just as good albeit less stress. I was pretty happy Soler didn’t pinch hit that inning so Matzek could come back out. Interesting that the Dodgers were so much better against the right handers. I think Luke’s fastball was fine but he went to the slider too often.Biff Pocoroba wrote:Seriously though, how amazing was Tyler Matzek’s first three outs?

Re: Atlanta Braves
Of course I’m happy Atlanta is coming with at least a split but at a cost. It was going to be tough for the pitching staff to outlast the Astros bats. Hopefully Fried can go deep tomorrow.
