The problem with the very productive artists I know is that they all died/killed themselves. So I rather have an album every 3 or 4 years forever than 2 a year and then nothing. But if they can do it in a sane way, I would love them to just release everything they have regularly.

LTRP's chorus sounds like it came from some dopey Broadway show. The generic verse riff seems like death metal in comparison.

it's a sing songy delivery with some dirty music and dark lyrics. I love that contrast. The chorus is one of my favorite parts.

My main problem with LTRP is that we waited 4 years for it. It's not the kind of song I look forward to or care to listen to from Pearl Jam. It's a decent song, nice bridge, some nice guitars, but overall, meh. I think almost none of Pearl Jam work can be considered generic, but if there was one, this would be it, if only for how closely it sticks to the blues rock genre. Not my style for PJ.

It's fine though, it will just this albums skipper for me. And it could have been worse.

I've found that some songs I don't really like or skip at first become favorites later. I'm trying not to write anything off until I live with the album for awhile. That being said, I actually like LTRP
