No not tracking an official announcement, but I'll be uber excited if/when they do. MGS3 is my favorite of the series. Would love to hear about this and Resident Evil 4 remake that's supposedly been in the works but prob too soon for the latter.

Shit I hope not. I kind of saw the RE4 VR as more or less a significant upgrade to the original game. I've seen a lot of rumors/speculation (though nothing lately) that a full-blown remake a la RE2/RE3 has been in the works for RE4.

Metal Gear Solid 3 is my favorite MGS game and I will absolutely buy a PS5 just to play that remake.
